Chef Recruitment Consultant.

We are looking for Head Chefs or Kitchen Managers from a branded restaurant background who are looking for a career change whilst still passionate about food and looking to apply their experience and knowledge in a different direction. We are looking for a chef to join us as a Chef Recruiter working for our hospitality division Detail2Leisure.
Offering a salary from £20,000 - £25,000 (depending on experience) with a realistic OTE of £35,000 - £45,000 plus the opportunity to develop to become a member of the senior management team within the next 2 years. You will receive full training to enable you to transfer your managerial skills to make a successful transition to the recruitment sector, which is the same path many of our existing consultants have followed. You will work office hours Monday to Friday with starting holiday allowance of 22 days plus bank holidays.

Job Role - Chef Recruitment Consultant:
As a Recruitment Consultant your role will involve:
- Working in a proactive manner to source appropriate candidates for clients job vacancies.
- Source business through utilising referrals, networking and direct approaches to companies.
- Be creative and industrious in your approach to placing candidates for difficult to place vacancies.
- Effectively market candidates by virtue of their CV and ensure a close match with candidates aspirations and client requirements.
- To coach and mentor candidates through the client recruitment process.
- Be able to work to and achieve financial targets and other KPIs.

- You will need to be well organised with a common sense approach to business yet able to think creatively to find solutions and overcome obstacles.
- Natural and articulate communicator who can build relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Tenacious and sales driven mindset with the ability to react quickly to changing requirements.
- Quick learner who can absorb information quickly and who takes a pro-active lead in developing their own skill set through learning from others.
- A commercial approach to all aspects of your work.
- Be able to work at pace and keep "a lot of plates spinning" simultaneously
- Understand that recruitment falls within the "sales" category rather than "HR"
- Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing
