How We Recruit at Detail2Leisure
It starts with the CV
Once you have sent us your CV we will do an initial search for suitable opportunities across our client base. When we have identified some possible opportunities we will be in touch to discuss these with you and to start the process of getting to know you. It’s important that we get to understand where you're at in your career and ultimately where you want to be in the future.
When everyone's happy that we have found a match, we will put you through a competency based interview designed to see where you're at in relation to the core competencies and culture fit that our client requires. Not only is this a great exercise in terms of practice and preparation for the real thing, it helps to focus the mind and get you in the right mindset to ensure you perform at your very best when it comes to the interview process.
Finding the best leisure jobs for you
If there's one thing we are, it's honest! If at any point we feel that a position is not right for you or alternatively that you're not right for the particular opportunity, we will tell you and we will back this up with constructive and meaningful feedback. Likewise if you decide that you don't want to progress with a specific opportunity, all we ask is that you are honest with us and tell us! If you need to speak to an adviser please call us on 0845 275 2888 and we will be happy to help.
The next step is that we will submit your CV to our client (with your approval). When we have got feedback from our client we will call you straight away and again whether good / bad news we will always feedback directly to you ensuring that we put you in the picture as soon as we can.
The Interview
When our client agrees with us that you are a good match for their opportunity, the interview process starts. Each of our clients work differently. Some run assessment days where you will be invited to attend typically a half day or full day and this will include a series of different exercises designed to get the best out of you and assess whether you're right for the opportunity and vice versa. Alternatively some clients prefer to interview in the more traditional way. Whatever the process you can rely on us to coach and support you throughout after all it's often the little things that can give you the edge on the day.
Post interview - Leisure and Hospitality Jobs
After the interview process has been concluded, it's decision time. Hopefully you will be successful in securing a job offer but sometimes it's a case of back to the drawing board. Irrespective of the outcome there always positives to be taken from any situation after all every employer has specific requirements and feedback is always constructive. More often than not it's a positive outcome and we then continue to stay in touch with you right up until you start your new job. Again we’re on hand to advise on matters such as tendering your notice with your current employer, advising you on your employment rights etc.
