Responsibilities of a Bar Manager
As a Bar Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the smooth running of the bar
- Ensuring customers recieve good service
- Management of the bar staff
- Organising staff rota's
- Driving sales and profitability of the bar
- Ordering stock and maintaining sufficient stock levels
- Recruitment of new staff when needed
You will manage all the people working in your bar or club and successfully ensure they are happy whilst also doing their job efficiently. You will answer to the general manager of the business.
You will be expected to work night shifts at least five days a week including Friday and Saturday nights.
Typically, this job commands a reasonable salary, often with additional performance related bonuses and potential progression to become a General Manager
